Welcome to my world-sit down close the door
Fasten your seatbelts, we're all in for a new internet venture in this blog. I've enjoyed "motoring" my whole life. This parking space for my thoughts and yours is about antique & classic cars as well as motorcycles and anything else with an engine and wheels.
I am a broadcast journalist by trade, and an avid auto enthusiast in my spare time.
Stop if you've heard this restoration story before: Eight years ago I purchased a tired 1959 MGA Roadster. I immediatly started a frame-off restoration. Now I can say, maybe it'll be done in 07'. Before and current pictures will be posted soon. Talented technicians at Vintage Motorcars LLC in Westbrook, CT are doing the bodywork, as we write. (www.vintagemotorcarsllc.com)
That 71' Dodge Challenger Convertable at the top of this page was once mine. I bought it in 1975' for $3,000 from Cavallaro Dodge in Ansonia. They bought it back smashed from the original owner. It came to life from Dodge painted *Plum Crazy*, 383 Magnum with a Shaker Hood and 4 speed Hurst pistol grip. Today's value? $100k. I sold it in 1984 to a student at Eastern Connecticut State Univ. in Windham. Where is it now? By the way, where is the 1937 Dodge Deluxe Coupe with a rumble seat (straight 6) that I sold to someone in the Southington/Cheshire area? or the 48' Chevy Business Coupe? Only if I had the space-time & money!!!!!!
