What a Grand Touring Season

There are certain seasons of the year in Connecticut, like Autumn, and especially the month of October that makes you appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
What breathtaking scenery!
Cruise Route 156 through Lyme and Salem, then head North towards Devil's Hopyard State Park, OUTSTANDING!
Take your bicycles, or horse to Bluff Point in Groton. It was a destination for many families and their pet's Saturday. Strolling, or riding the coastline path to the Point looking out at Fisher Island Sound.
If you're in Central Connecticut, a steady climb up Sleeping Giant, West Rock or East Rock Park's will leave you back on the bottom craving for more.
In Western Connecticut, Putnam Park, Candlewood Lake or a nice cruise past New Milford along Route 7 to Kent Falls will be a treat for your eyes.
Let's not forget the quiet corner. Not so quiet these days in the colorful hills of Pomfret and Woodstock. Lot's of tourists, many leaf peepers enjoying the countryside.
There are so many wonderful areas to enjoy. Give yourself a break, enjoy Connecticut.
