I-95

I-95 is not a speedway. I-95 is not a live video game. Everyday I see drivers drive as if it is a raceway or a video game. Let me tell you speedsters something, you're getting nowhere fast. The tight, narrow ribbon of roadway at exit 74 in Flanders to the split with I-395 has a posted speed limit of 45 or 50mph. I bet tomorrow or any day this week, just days after a fatal horrendous crash there, I will be able to clock 4 wheelers and multi-wheel trucks hitting 70-to 80mph. Oh, it's not just there, believe me. Try maneuvering through Fairfield County via I-95 or i-91 Northbound in Middletown just beyond the rest stop.
I'll get back to you next week and report my findings.

Who cares? Obesity kills orders of magnitude more people year than auto accidents. Let people drive.

I actually care. Yes, obesity does cause the majority of deaths in america; however, obesity is ultimately the individual's responsibility. You control the exercise you get and the food you consume and it's up to you to take steps to change it if you choose - and it doesn't cause physical harm to those around you. However, if a family with kids is driving down the highway at a reasonable rate of speed, obeying traffic laws, and some idiot in an 18 wheeler or an SUV is speeding and loses control because of an object in the road, failing brakes, or a slick spot and crashes into them, killing someone - who's responsibility is that? People need to slow down and be mindful of those around them...At the same time, if you are doing 45 in the passing lane with your blinker on, talking on your cell phone or touching up your make up, that's a problem too. People need to follow the rules of the road.

who cares?! when you're obese, you don't kill innocent people going about their daily lives...you only kill yourself. when you speed, you kill innocent people going about their business. you have no right to kill me as i'm minding my own business going to work or running to the grocery store. you want to be obese and kill yourself, go for it. but don't take my life by driving recklessly.

Let's generate a system taht allows all businesses within a grouping to alert one another of possible problems. i.e. If I have a bank and there is a dunkin donuts and a hair parlor nearby. those businesses would also be alerted to any crime going on in my store.Call it the community response system.

Write back for the complete slution to solving crime.
