TIS THE SEASON TO GIVE

Happy Thanksgiving! I just finished getting rid of last year's Holiday weight gain. Note to self, watch the trimmings.
We all have our personal reasons for giving thanks. Even though illness has taken away many loved ones this past year, it gives us pause to appreciate the time we did have with them, and the time we have with those loved ones we sometimes take for granted.
This is the season of giving, so why not give someone a hand that you otherwise may not, give someone a break if you have a difficult relationship, or just give more of yourself. The price is right, the cost - a little more compassion.

Happy Holiday

I couldn't agree with you more on this. I am learning to be thankful for what I have. All too often we are not grateful for what we have until it's almost taken away from us..or worse, gone. So I have decided to be thankful now while I have all that I have. I will also lend a hand when it's needed or just be there for someone who may need to talk. It costs nothing, but it benefits so much.
