Help! Straightening out the Garage space.

Time to straighten out the garage before winter sets in. All tips are welcome! But I have to credit one of our own Meredith Corp. Publications for the inspiration. Each issue of WOOD Magazine has a home project you can actually build and admire. Because of the limited space in the Hogan 2 -car garage and the need to consolidate boxes of auto parts, the January/February issue has plans for a rolling shop cabinet. Perfect for storing small bins of miscellaneous

I'll let you know how it turns out!

FORE!!!!! Channel 3 Kids Camp

Wow, another Kids Camp Tournament is here! What a GREAT event and opportunity to talk with our friends and sponsors. It's not that I'll be teeing up this year since I threw out the clubs I bought when I was 14. I was a summertime caddy at Oak Lane CC in Woodbridge.
What I've learned about golf over the years, is that you really don't need a Kangaroo bag packed with every club. Just the few essentials to lift you off the tee...and get you to the green quickly.
Next year I'll have that NEW set of sticks...and maybe get a foursome with my three brothers.

Summer of 06' buh-bye- How was your season?

Ok, where did the summer go? We went to 1 Wednesday night cruise show/fireworks this summer at Mohegan Sun. Dropped in to the Monday Cruise night twice at Ocean Beach New London, and appeared at one car show in Norwich.
So the season got off to a wet / cold start, we had a heat wave and now labor day is come and almost gone! Gotta get the snow blower ready.

How was your summer?

1959 MGA Roadster on a spit

This is before blasting.

Here's the tub of the 59' on a rotisserie for blasting and metal replacement.

The technician doing the work, Kevin says after the body is blasted and primed, you shouldn't touch the surface with your bare hands. The oils in your skin will contaminate the metal and blemishes will appear in the finished paint job.
