OK FATHER'S OF THE GROOM I NEED ADVICE

TAH-DUM-DA-DUM
In a matter of days my first born is getting married. Whoooooaa, who hit the fast forward button of life?
SHE, Abby, is a wonderful young woman. Together, they are a team, with many mutual interests. So, what's the hang-up Hogan? The tux is pressed and ready, the shoes are spit shined, and I even have my little "speech & toast" ready for the traditional rehearsal dinner!
We've hit these speed-bumps in life before without running off the road; 20, 30, 40, divorce, kids in College, re-marriage, newborn, heart surgery, 50......and now its post parenthood time.
One has to wonder at this phase in the game of LIFE, did we do our job in preparing him to have and to hold from this day forward?
No, it's not just another day. It is their special day and one that our large blended families will cherish.
Dad's, if you have experience that will help me out this week, drop a comment!

Great Day

What a treat to have my daughter Taylor join me for a day at work. And, it was a typical news day! What I mean by typical is that you plan, plan, plan, shoot stories, interview people and at the last possible moment throw it all out the window for breaking news!
Taylor loved the beat and excitment.

The Holland America Cruise Ship MS. Maasdam cruised into New London Harbor this week. If you ever get the chance to witness this huge vessel pulling into port, go see it.

Ride for Renovation Motorcycle ride is coming up on the 19th...kicking off at TSI Harley again. Here's the link to this and others: http://www.lets-ride.com/event/connecticut.htm

Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of the summer cruising season is coming quickly, please drive safely.
