Covering Southeast Connecticut

Covering Southeast Connecticut - is a daily challenge. We live and work in such a diverse geographical area: Long Island Sound to the south, the long tidal Connecticut river to the west and communities dotting each side of a ribbon of highway called i-395 running north to the Massachusetts border. It's about one-third of the State of Connecticut! Inside this coverage area are distinct communities, businesses and lifestyles. I've had the unique pleasure during the past 33 years of covering every quadrant of my home State. Each "County" has it's own identity. The Brooklyn section of Waterbury (New Haven County) is not like the Town of Brooklyn (Windham County), nor is Milford (New Haven County) similar to New Milford (Litchfield County). As Spring arrives why not tune your attention to the change in the season. When you go for a walk, hike, bicycle ride or cruising in a powered vehicle take a moment to stop, look and listen to what's around you. The trees are already starting to change as are the planted bulbs. Let's breathe it all in and enjoy.

Finally, the cold weather snapped!

You can smell the change in the air, SPRING is almost here. So many motorcycle's are getting tuned for the season. Those running on four-wheels, I actually saw a convertable today with the top down! Imagine that! It wasn't a snowy winter but we had our bouts of coooollld.
If you're out and about please be careful of those jogging, riding their bicycle's or motorcycles. Everyone has a right to use the road.
